The Boeing Company Cost Management Financial Analyst in Seattle, Washington

Come and be part of the Boeing Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) finance team! We are seeking a world class Financial Analyst to be a key member of our Finance team. IT&DA organization is the leading force to transform Boeing IT infrastructure, systems, and analytics capabilities and support the enterprise business growth into the second century. This position will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS), to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership in the IT&DA organization.

Primary Responsibilities: · Taking the lead in financial planning; utilizing financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance · Developing long range financial/operational forecasts · Evolving and standardizing financial reports and operational metrics

He/she will implement and drive the core financial processes for the business including Long Range Business Planning, Budget and Forecast, Monthly Performance Reporting, quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, identification of financial/operational Risks and Opportunities (R&O) to the business, and driving ad-hoc business projects.

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint experience

  • 1 year with estimates of completion (EACs,) forecasting, resource planning, and cost management

  • 1 year COGNOS/SAP experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

  • Microsoft Office Outlook and Word experience

  • 1 year developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders
