Wells Fargo's Personal Lending group is part of the company's Consumer Credit Solutions business and serves more than 3 million customers in all 50 states. The group provides credit products to help customers meet their financial needs: private student loans through the Education Financial Services business; personal loans and lines of credit through the Personal Lines and Loans business. Wells Fargo Personal Lending also provides customers with free tools and financial education resources to help them succeed financially.

The Personal Lines & Loans team is seeking a Loan Document Specialist 3 to join their team. Responsibilities will include performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderately complex loans, using comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures for loan products.

Functions include:

  • Processing, closing and compliance for loan products

  • Interpreting policies while analyzing applicant, property and documentation

  • Ordering all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow ups

Hours of operation are 7am CST-7pm CST Monday through Friday and Saturday 8am CST-5 pm CST. There will be a required Saturday based on a three week rotation to support additional business needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Ability to manage a pipeline of work from assignment to completion

  • Knowledge and understanding of cash flow lending

  • Knowledge and understanding of cash flow: modeling and income review processes

  • Knowledge and understanding of loan documentation

  • Knowledge and understanding of underwriting or loan processing

  • Knowledge and understanding of underwriting or processing complex transactions
