The Boeing Company Cost Management Financial Analyst in Saint Louis, Missouri

Come and be part of the Boeing Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) finance team! We are seeking a world class Financial Analyst to be a key member of our Finance team. IT&DA organization is the leading force to transform Boeing IT infrastructure, systems, and analytics capabilities and support the enterprise business growth into the second century. This position will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS), to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership in the IT&DA organization.

Primary Responsibilities: · Develop scalable financial reports that align, and simplify monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes · Build scalable financial processes and metrics by working with integrated project leaders and other finance teams · Drive data analytic discussions in business review meetings with cross functional business stakeholders, IT service owners and finance managers · Deliver fact-based insights into variances and trends · Drive overall financial performance to meet the affordability challenge and invest into the future

He/she will implement and drive the core financial processes for the business including Long Range Business Planning, Budget and Forecast, Monthly Performance Reporting, quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, identification of financial/operational Risks and Opportunities (R&O) to the business, and driving ad-hoc business projects.

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint experience

  • 1 year developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders

  • 3 year's with estimates of completion (EACs,) forecasting, resource planning, and cost management

  • 3 year's COGNOS/SAP experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

  • Microsoft Office Outlook and Word experience
