The Manufacturing Process Engineering organization is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support liaison production requirements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in aircraft structures, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems as well as aircraft assembly processes and materials. As an MPE you will develop manufacturing process work instructions that are applicable to statistical process controls, and develop production application techniques and tools.Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
The Ideal candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Science Degree STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical) and 2 years of experience in process engineering or an engineering related field. This person must have the ability to effectively support/communicate with various levels of leadership, clients and vendors. This position requires having the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
