The Northrop Grumman Aerospace Sector (NGAS) is seeking a qualified candidate who will fill a critical position as an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO). This person will report to the Industrial Security Manager and be charged with providing security administration and management for site security at the Oklahoma City, OK location. The AFSO provides day to day security oversight in all disciplines of security. Effectively interfaces with government/prime contractor customers, NG program management, and employees on a daily basis. Responsible for all security aspects supporting programs including Personnel Security (SAPNP), Physical Security (closed areas/SAPF oversight), Document Control, Security Education Briefings (management & employee briefings), Security Operating Procedures (creating SOPs), OPSEC, Transportation Plans, Visitor Control, creating and maintaining DD254 contractual specification documents, and interfacing with subcontractors. The AFSO maintains a high degree of problem solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Makes sound decisions, takes independent action, analyzes problems and provides focused solutions. Has developed an in-depth understanding of DoD and national intelligence agency security requirements including; National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.7, and IC Directives. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and hardware. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. The selected candidate will be required to work after normal hours during critical operations or in response to investigate alarm conditions at the facility.
This individual will study and study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Bachelors degree and 3 years of security experience or a Masters degree and 1 year of security experience.
Experience with NISPOM
Experience with government databases
Active Secret security clearance; BI within 6 year scope
Special Access Program (SAP) experience
Active TS clearance; BI within 6 year scope
Completion of CDSE FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities
