Primary role will be will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and maintaining web-based application systems. Tests modified programs to ensure data accuracy and modifications with no adverse impact on systems operation.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based application systems.

  • Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application.Creates new and extend existing operational documentation.

  • Enhances existing systems by analyzing business requirements and identifies areas formodification and improvement.

  • Enhances existing web-based components.

  • Suggests new tools and methods to improve development efficiency.

  • Tests modified programs to ensure data accuracy and modifications with no adverse impact onsystems operation.

  • Supports and develop programs/tools associated with company’s websites.

  • Maintains and enhance source code management/release management activities.

  • Interface with website owners and users.

  • Collaborates with website owners concerning website design.

  • Resolves coding issues for existing applications and websites.

  • Prepares application program test data.

  • Archives code.

  • End User SupportoWorks & resolves assigned help desk tickets per IT SLA’s.

  • oIdentifies root cause & take appropriate design/development actions to resolve assignedtickets related to: website issues (functionality and/or performance).

  • Site Development & User Experience ProcessesoWorks with process/business owners to document and refine specific system developmentrequirements in support of the needs of the business.

  • Assists IT department/team members with application problems as needed.

  • Integrates data from various back-end services and databases.

  • Establishes and maintain production control best practices around code versioning, changecontrol, and Development, Test, & Production environments.

  • Creates and maintain software documentation.

  • Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our sites.

  • Stays plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operationsand activities.

  • Testing - Develop unit test and integration test scenarios and test steps in a way thatprovides a solid foundation for user acceptance testing, as well as future system regression testing.

  • Strong understanding of WEB UI’s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.

  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with web applications and development languages/tools such as Visual Basic, VBScript, .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.

  • Deep functional knowledge and hands on design experience with Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services and other related tools.

  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

  • 2- 3 years' Microsoft O365 SharePoint design and development experience.

  • Active Batch Job Scheduler design and development experience (Major Plus).

  • Effective communication skills and able to articulate technical designs and business intent to business users and project members.

  • Experience with software version upgrades & regression testing.

  • Experience working within a technical & functional team environment.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of flexibility and to learn and support new applications.

  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with numerous departments, employees, and cultures.

  • Experienced in the development and writing of software documentation.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).

  • Minimum 10 years of business experience is a must.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university;

  • Plus ten years related experience and/or training.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have solid knowledge of:

  • SAP C4C•MSSQL Server development
