As part of the Oracle Bronto Marketing team, the Customer Engagement Associate will play a critical role in developing marketing programs to help our customers get the most value from the Bronto Marketing Platform.

The Customer Engagement Associate’s primary responsibilities are to assist the Senior Marketing Manager in developing, managing, executing, and measuring marketing strategies and tactics to nurture our customer base. This includes educational webinars, customer lifecycle program, new product promotions, and other customer campaigns focused on customer retention and customer delight. The Customer Engagement Associate will also build and manage a customer reference program which will identify customer advocates and track the marketing activities they engage in.

Responsibilities for this position include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Develop and manage relationships with Bronto customers to speak to press and participate in marketing activities (case studies, awards, videos, reference forums, speaking opportunities, logo usage).

  • Track participation in the customer reference program and align with other internal teams on requests to customers.

  • Curate content and write teasers for the customer newsletter.

  • Work closely with product marketing and account management to develop and execute new product communication plans.

  • Develop the next generation customer lifecycle email program. You’ll work with the Senior Marketing Manager and various stakeholders to shape the customer journey from onboarding new users to cultivating them into brand advocates.

  • Ensure the data captured in Eloqua and our CRM for Bronto customers is accurate for marketing uses and general reporting.

  • Monitor the customer response email to ensure inquiries are routed appropriately and followed up on.

  • Manage the schedule, topics, and content creation for the login graphic.

  • Understand sales and marketing needs related to customer reference program and deliver a programmatic approach to meeting those needs

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent project planning and execution skills, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to multi-task, prioritize, anticipate possible obstacles and deliver viable solutions in a timely manner.

  • BA/BS in marketing or business.

  • 2-4 years’ experience in marketing; experience in customer marketing and referencing a plus.

  • SaaS business experience is preferred. More specifically a focus in marketing to ecommerce businesses

Responsible for driving the customer marketing strategy by defining, building and executing programs that deliver a steady stream of well-targeted customer reference assets and activities to support awareness, demand generation, and sales as well as connecting them with the right advisory initiatives and inviting and connecting them with the appropriate peer groups.

Follow a detailed plan that delivers a steady stream of customer success stories and references to support awareness, demand generation and sales cycles. Advocate on behalf of Oracle by connecting and enrolling them in appropriate advocate program elements and take a team-based approach to keeping customers engaged with Oracle. Match sales reference requests to appropriate references. The success of this role means higher customer satisfaction, retention and expansion of Oracle business. Acquire knowledge of our customer base, existing customer story content, mine and use that content to increase its effectiveness. Understand and support the needs of internal and external stakeholders, and communicate their needs. Connect them with the right advisory initiatives and invite and connect them with the appropriate peer groups. Motivate customers to speak to press and analysts, take sales reference calls, and participate in marketing activities (case studies, awards, videos, reference forums, speaking opportunities, etc.)

Job duties are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years related experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how.
