The Solution Executive assist the Account Executive in selling (complex) infrastructural solutions from Dell’s wide portfolio of infrastructural hard- and software solutions and (managed) Services.
He or she is responsible for managing the process of translating the client’s business requirements into specific solutions and IT roadmap (strategic IT plan of customer) in close cooperation with subject matter experts (Domain specialist).
The Solutions executive is capable to have CxO/Director level conversations and is able to develop the relationship to being perceived as trusted advisor on this level. He or she is a leader within the virtual account team concerning multi and single domain solutions sales within the specific customer set/vertical.
The Solution Executive has a very professional presence and vocabulary and has, develops and maintains a powerful network in- and outside Dell (customers, alliances, channel partners).
He or she should have a proven track record and is able to take ownership on identifying, creating, developing and driving Solutions business and manages the virtual (technical) account team and controlling the solutions integrity for (large complex) End User Computing, Next Generation Data Center and Intelligent Data Management solutions.
Evangelist, great presenting skills and able to lead conversations
Fluent Dutch language verbal & written is a requirement
Own Point of view and vision on IT industry
Good understanding of infrastructural technology (server, storage, networking, OS, Applications, Security) and able to design high-level infrastructures and IT roadmaps
Good understanding of (business)processes and people/end-users
Self-starter and –motivator
Conducts customer needs analysis and project scoping
Experienced as a (pre-sales) consultant within same industry and software and/or services arena is a pre.
Experienced as IT director/manager or Program Manager is a pre.
Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards.
